The staff at Linsday Elementary School love the Math Strength and Stretches books! Linsday staff use them in centers throughout the day. Specials and substitute teachers use them during afternoon intervention work too. Linsday principal, Gordon Culver says, “We use peers during our intervention time. These peers have been using the MSS books as well and it’s been great! Their confidence goes way up with the answers and some verbiage for them to use on the back side. My favorite is our 1st grade boy that has struggled at times, but does well with math. He leads a Kindergarten group, often by himself, and does an amazing job teaching them math content. It’s the happiest part of his day.”
