High-quality science teaching ignites students’ natural curiosity about the world around them and motivates them to extend their thinking through exploration. This three-day workshop provides teachers with the opportunity to explore science practices utilizing the Focused Instructional Model. Through these important learnings teachers will gain traction to increase student achievement. Using the Focused Instructional Model, students will learn to self-evaluate based on the results of bi-weekly progress monitoring tests. Our coaches will work alongside teachers to embed the most effective instructional strategies into their classroom and use the progress monitoring data to drive instructional decisions.
