Bobbi Morehead is a Leadership Coach at The Institute for Excellence in Education where she coaches school leaders to mediate their thinking. She enjoys serving leaders as a thought partner to improve deeper learning opportunities for staff and students.
Dr. Morehead served as a former Superintendent of a district which achieved National Capturing Kid’s showcase status. Positive school culture is her first priority in helping school leaders set the foundation for innovation. She also has served as a turnaround specialist to transform high poverty buildings and districts from failing schools to achieving schools as documented on the Mackinaw Center Report Card. Dr. Morehead helps school leaders develop and nurture distributed leadership in order to improve academic performance as well as social/ emotional learning opportunities for staff and students.
Bobbi is an avid reader and loves walking in nature and enjoys all four seasons in her native state, Michigan.
Bobbi is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a PhD in Educational Leadership, focusing on secondary literacy.
