The Institute for Excellence in Education is excited to announce a special partnership with Michigan Schools To Watch — the Michigan affiliate of a nationwide network working to identify and recognize excellence in middle-grades schools.
Below is a letter we sent to Michigan’s middle-school principals in September.
Would you like to be recognized for all the great things you do for young adolescents? Want to receive feedback from middle-grades colleagues about how your middle school is meeting the needs of its students?
Join more than 400 middle-grades schools across the state and nation who are making a powerful difference in the lives of ten- to fourteen-year-olds. Become a School To Watch.
The Schools To Watch application is FREE and it provides an excellent tool for middle-grades staff members to engage in meaningful reflections around their school’s practices, policies and programs. Once your application has been reviewed, your school may be scheduled to receive a visit by a team of middle-grades educators who will provide you with data and mediative questions to guide your continued growth. Applications are due November 15.
