Meet Our School Leader Mr. Ren!

September 13, 2018 by Christina Musinski

IEE team members have had the pleasure of supporting the professional development needs of Entel Foreign Language School. During our work with the school, team members have gotten to know school leader, Ren. His dedication to providing high-quality educational opportunities for students is apparent. Mr. Ren’s photo is featured on our home page this month. We are excited to introduce Mr. Ren to the IEE community through our blog.

Mr. Ren Jianhua has been the principal of Hangzhou Entel Foreign Language School (HEFLS) since 2008. This position is the culmination of a long and distinguished career as both a leader and an educator. Since coming to Entel as a senior lecturer in 1983, Mr. Ren has served as the Secretary of the Youth League, deputy secretary of the school’s Communist Party Committee, chair of the Social Studies Department, and vice principal at Hangzhou Foreign Languages School.

Throughout his tenure at HEFLS, Mr. Ren has worked relentlessly to promote the school’s guiding mission: to hire the most effective and inspiring teachers in order to equip all students with the knowledge and skills that will facilitate productive, fulfilling, professional and personal lives for future. Ever mindful of new opportunities to advance this mission, Mr. Ren invited IEE to conduct a professional development seminar at the school this past August.  He recognized the shared values and goals of a school that offers international bridge programs and an educational company whose mission is to spread its innovative message globally.

Special thanks to Judy Wang at Entel Foreign Language School for assisting us in writing this blog.
